Homemade French Fries
Satisfy your cravings with this super simple recipe. You’ll never go back to store-bought again!
Ingredients
Brush potatoes (1 potato = 1 serve)
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp paprika
¼ corn flour
1 tbsp olive oil
Extra sea salt for seasoning
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Wash potatoes thoroughly and dry.
Cut potatoes (length ways) into roughly 5mm wide slices then cut into matchsticks.
Place potatoes into a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes then strain and pat dry with paper towels or tea towel.
In a bowl, add potatoes, sea salt, paprika, corn flour and olive oil - mix until well coated.
On a lined baking tray, spread potatoes evenly so they are barely touching.
Increase oven temperature to 200°C and bake potatoes for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, flip fries and bake for another 10 minutes.
Once cooked, allow fries to cool for 2 minutes then season with sea salt and serve.
